Indulge in a delightful fusion of flavors with this Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta. The tender chicken, coated in a sweet and spicy honey glaze, pairs perfectly with al dente pasta, all enveloped in a creamy sauce that tantalizes the taste buds with every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Chicken:
    • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
    • 1/4 cup honey
    • 1 tablespoon black pepper
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • For the Pasta:
    • 8 ounces fettuccine or spaghetti
    • 2 cups heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • Salt to taste
  • For Garnish:
    • Fresh parsley, chopped
    • Extra Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, black pepper, and olive oil. Marinate the chicken breasts in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, garlic powder, and salt. Stir and bring to a simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
  7. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead of time; simply store the cooked pasta and chicken separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, warm the pasta in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of cream if needed.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a plant-based cream alternative.
