- 1 cup sago pearls
- 2 cups water
- 1 ripe honeydew melon, diced
- 1 can (400ml) coconut milk
- 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Rinse the sago pearls under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add the sago pearls.
- Cook the sago pearls for about 10-15 minutes until they become translucent, stirring occasionally.
- Once cooked, drain the sago and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a separate bowl, mix the diced honeydew melon with the cooked sago.
- In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sugar, and a pinch of salt until the sugar dissolves.
- Allow the coconut milk mixture to cool slightly before combining it with the sago and honeydew mixture.
- Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your preference.
- For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of pandan extract to the coconut milk.
