    • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
    • 2 tablespoons hot honey
    • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.
  5. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough to a piece of parchment paper. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base.
  7. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices.
  8. Carefully slide the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle with hot honey. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
