- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Stir in cooked rice, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers and place them in a baking dish.
- Top each pepper with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
