- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 sandwich buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup jalapeno honey
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, dredge in the flour mixture, and shake off excess.
- Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing fried chicken on a bun, topping with lettuce, tomatoes, and drizzling with jalapeno honey.
