Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Drain excess fat and return the skillet to the heat.
- Add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to the skillet.
- Stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- For a healthier option, use lean ground beef or ground turkey.
- Adjust the level of spice by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
