- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the beef and mix well.
- On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips.
- Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef over the chips.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef.
- Add diced tomatoes and jalapeños over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with green onions, sour cream, and salsa before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to customize toppings based on your preference.
- For a spicier version, add more jalapeños or hot sauce.
- Can be made vegetarian by substituting ground beef with black beans.
