Instructions
Place your shot glasses in the freezer or fill with ice water to chill. Cold glasses help keep the layers distinct longer.
Pour the blue curaΓ§ao slowly into the bottom of each shot glass. This forms the vibrant base of your swirl.
Using the back of a spoon held just above the blue curaΓ§ao, gently pour the strawberry liqueur or grenadine so it floats atop the blue layer without mixing.
Slowly pour the Irish cream liqueur over the back of the spoon to float it on top, creating a creamy cap to the shot.
In a separate small shaker, mix lemon juice and vodka (or rum) with ice. Strain gently into the shot glass, aiming for a slight swirl effect that blends the layers just enough to create a βmagic swirl.β
