Ingredients

  • 1½ oz Malibu Coconut Rum

  • 1 oz Banana Liqueur
    (e.g., 99 Bananas or Giffard Banane du Brésil)

  • 1 oz Vanilla Vodka
    (or plain vodka with a dash of vanilla extract)

  • 2 oz Pineapple Juice

  • 1 oz Orange Juice

  • Splash of Lemon-Lime Soda (optional, for fizz)

  • Ice

  • Banana Slice or Candy Garnish (optional, for fun visual presentation)


Instructions

    1. Chill Your Glass:
      Start by placing your serving glass (highball, rocks, or hurricane) in the freezer for a few minutes or fill it with ice water while you prep the drink.

    2. Add Ice to Shaker or Glass:
      Fill a cocktail shaker with ice if you’re shaking it, or simply prepare a glass full of ice if you’re opting to stir.

    3. Combine the Spirits:
      Pour 1½ oz of Malibu coconut rum1 oz of banana liqueur, and 1 oz of vanilla vodka into your shaker or mixing glass. These form the boozy, tropical base of the cocktail.

    4. Pour in the Juices:
      Add 2 oz of pineapple juice and 1 oz of orange juice. These juices add a fruity, tropical sweetness and provide body to the drink.

    5. Shake or Stir (Your Call):

      • Shake if you prefer a frothy texture with nicely blended flavors.

      • Stir gently if you want a layered, clean presentation with more distinct flavor notes.

    6. Strain and Serve:
      Strain the mixture into your chilled glass filled with fresh ice. If you stirred the drink directly in the glass, you’re ready for the next step.

    7. Add the Fizz (Optional):
      Top with a splash of lemon-lime soda for extra sparkle and a bright citrus finish.

    8. Garnish:
      Add a banana slice on the rim or float a candy banana in the drink. For a fun twist, use a cocktail umbrella or even a small toy figure for themed events.

Notes

  • Party Pitcher Version: Multiply the ingredients by 4 or 8 and mix in a pitcher without the soda or ice. Refrigerate until serving.

  • Add Ice and Soda Just Before Serving to prevent dilution and fizz loss.
