Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup mango puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon gelatin (optional)
  • Fresh mango slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Add the mango puree and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  5. If using gelatin, dissolve it in a small amount of warm water and fold it into the mixture.
  6. Divide the mousse into individual cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Garnish with fresh mango slices before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute cream cheese with a plant-based alternative and use coconut cream instead of heavy cream.
  • Make sure the mango puree is smooth for the best texture.
