- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, chopped bacon, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Toss until the Brussels sprouts are well coated.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Drizzle the maple syrup over the Brussels sprouts and bacon, then return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Feel free to add nuts like pecans for added crunch.
- Adjust the amount of maple syrup based on your sweetness preference.
