A delicious and indulgent breakfast casserole made with croissants, eggs, and a sweet maple glaze.

- 6 large croissants, torn into pieces
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the torn croissant pieces to the egg mixture and gently fold to combine.
- If using, fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with additional maple syrup if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use half-and-half instead of milk.
- Can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
- Serve warm for the best taste.
