Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, brown sugar, and salt to form the crust.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake the crust for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  6. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
  8. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
