Description

Maryland Creamy Crab Dip is a luxurious blend of sweet, tender crab meat enveloped in a rich, velvety cream cheese base. The dip is seasoned with a hint of Old Bay seasoning, providing a delightful balance of savory and slightly spicy flavors that dance on the palate.

Ingredients

  • Crab Meat: 1 pound lump crab meat, picked over for shells
  • Cream Cheese: 8 ounces, softened
  • Sour Cream: 1/2 cup
  • Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
  • Old Bay Seasoning: 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon, freshly squeezed
  • Green Onions: 1/4 cup, finely chopped
  • Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in the lump crab meat and chopped green onions, being careful not to break up the crab too much.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
