- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked ziti, meat sauce, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
