Delicious and spooky Monster Eye Cupcakes topped with edible goo, perfect for Halloween or any monster-themed party.

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 can white frosting
- Green food coloring
- Chocolate chips
- Red gel food coloring
- Gummy eyeballs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, mix the white frosting with green food coloring until you achieve the desired shade.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes with the green frosting.
- Place a chocolate chip in the center of each cupcake to create the pupil of the eye.
- Top each cupcake with a gummy eyeball.
- Drizzle red gel food coloring around the edges to create the effect of edible goo.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the cake batter.
- Make sure the cupcakes are completely cool before frosting to prevent melting.
