- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, and cocoa powder until well combined.
- Add in the dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using, and stir until evenly distributed.
- Press the mixture firmly into a lined 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
- Once set, cut into bars and enjoy!
Notes
- Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Feel free to customize with your favorite mix-ins like dried fruit or seeds.
- For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey.
