- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly on the bottom.
- Pour the corn syrup mixture over the pecans.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the mixture.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
