  • Author: Jessica
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x
  • Diet: Gluten-Free (if using gluten-free rolls)

Description

These Philly Cheesesteak Sliders with Ground Beef are a delightful combination of juicy, seasoned beef, melted cheese, and soft, buttery rolls. Each bite offers a savory explosion of flavors, complemented by the rich, creamy texture of the cheese and the satisfying crunch of sautéed onions and peppers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Sliders:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 medium onion, diced
    • 1 bell pepper, diced
    • 8 slider rolls
    • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • For the Seasoning:
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  7. Top with provolone cheese slices, then place the top halves of the rolls on.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

  • Make-ahead: You can prepare the beef mixture a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Assemble the sliders just before baking.
  • Storage: Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Substitutions: Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option, or swap provolone for cheddar cheese for a different flavor.
