- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions
- Prepare the pineapple by peeling and slicing it into rings or chunks.
- In a large pot, combine sugar, apple cider vinegar, crushed red pepper flakes, cinnamon, ginger, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the pineapple slices to the pot and simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the pineapple is tender.
- Remove the pot from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Transfer the pineapple and syrup into sterilized jars and seal them tightly.
- Allow the jars to cool completely before storing them in the refrigerator.
