This inventive fudge combines all the classic flavors of pineapple upside-down cake into a creamy and indulgent treat.

- 1 can (15 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt the butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth.
- Combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into the mixture, stirring until creamy.
- Incorporate the crushed pineapple, chopped maraschino cherries, and nuts if using.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch dish and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes until set.
- Cut into squares and serve!
