- 2 cups ripe plums, pitted and chopped
- 1–2 habanero peppers, finely chopped (adjust for spice level)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 packet pectin
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the chopped plums, habanero peppers, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Add the pectin and continue to boil for 1-2 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal them tightly.
- Allow the jam to cool completely before storing it in the refrigerator.

- Adjust the number of habanero peppers based on your heat preference.
- This jam pairs well with cream cheese on crackers.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
