Instructions
Step 1: Prepare your workspace
Gather all gelatin boxes and separate cups for each color layer. Have a tray ready for refrigeration.
Step 2: Dissolve each gelatin flavor
For each color, boil 1 cup of water, pour into a bowl with 1 packet gelatin, stir for 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
Step 3: Add alcohol and cold water
To each dissolved gelatin mixture, add ¼ cup vodka and ¼ cup cold water. Stir well.
Step 4: Pour the first layer
Pour about ¼ inch of the first flavor (e.g., strawberry) into each shot cup. Place in the fridge to set for about 30-45 minutes, or until firm but not fully hardened.
Step 5: Repeat with remaining colors
Carefully layer the next color on top once the previous layer is firm enough to hold weight. Chill after each layer for 30-45 minutes. Repeat until all layers are complete.
Step 6: Final chill
Once all layers are set, refrigerate the shots for an additional hour to firm up fully.
Step 7: Garnish & serve
Top with whipped cream or small fruit pieces before serving, if desired.
