- 4 large eggs

- 2 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 2 to 4 tablespoons salted caramel sauce, for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the yellow cake mix, eggs, oil, water, vanilla extract, and spices until smooth.
- Stir in the grated carrots.
- Divide the batter evenly between your greased and floured cake pans.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- Warm your salted caramel sauce (if necessary).
- Place one layer on your serving plate and drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Beat together the softened cream cheese and salted butter until creamy.
- Gradually add confectioners’ sugar and mix until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla and salt, adjusting to taste.
- Assemble the cake by layering and frosting with cream cheese frosting and drizzling with salted caramel.
