Ingredients

Scale
  • Seafood:
    • 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • Vegetables:
    • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
    • 1/2 cup diced onion
    • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • Sauce:
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 2 cups seafood stock
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Biscuit Topping:
    • 2 cups Bisquick mix
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 2/3 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in the seafood stock and heavy cream.
  4. Add the Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Fold in the shrimp, lobster, and frozen peas and carrots, then remove from heat.
  6. Pour the seafood mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix the Bisquick, cheddar cheese, and milk until just combined. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the seafood filling.
  8. Drizzle the melted butter over the biscuit topping.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
