Ingredients
Make the Smurfberry Swirl! A vibrant blue and raspberry cocktail with vanilla cream and vodka. Fun, fruity, and perfect for parties.
Instructions
This recipe is for one cocktail. Multiply as needed for a party.
-
???? 1 oz blue curaçao – For citrus flavor and bold blue color.
-
???? 1 oz raspberry liqueur (like Chambord) – Adds berry sweetness and richness.
-
???? 1.5 oz vanilla vodka – Or plain vodka with ½ tsp vanilla extract.
-
???? 1 oz half & half or heavy cream – For creamy swirl texture.
-
???? Ice cubes – Crushed or cubed.
-
???? Optional garnish: whipped cream, blue or red sugar rim, fresh raspberries, or rock candy stirrers.
Notes
Step 1: Prepare Your Glass
Chill a stemmed cocktail glass or hurricane glass in the freezer. Optionally, rim the glass with blue sugar by dipping in simple syrup and then sugar crystals.
Step 2: Build the Blue Base
In a shaker filled with ice, combine:
-
1 oz blue curaçao
-
1.5 oz vanilla vodka
-
½ oz half & half
Shake well until frosty, then strain into your chilled glass.
Step 3: Add the Berry Swirl
Slowly pour 1 oz raspberry liqueur over the back of a spoon into the drink so it sinks and creates a swirling layer. The heavy liqueur will settle in ribbons through the blue base.
Step 4: Top & Garnish
Add a dollop of whipped cream if you like. Finish with a fresh raspberry, a sprig of mint, or even a piece of blue rock candy for fun.
Step 5: Serve with Style
Serve immediately and give it a gentle swirl at the table for the full “Smurfberry” effect!
