Ingredients

- 8 cups apple cider
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon allspice berries
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 apple, sliced
- Optional: 1 cup rum or bourbon
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine apple cider, orange juice, and brown sugar.
- Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice berries.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until it is hot but not boiling.
- Add the sliced orange and apple to the pot.
- If desired, stir in rum or bourbon.
- Let the punch simmer for 20-30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Strain the punch to remove the spices and fruit slices before serving.
- Serve warm in mugs and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum or bourbon.
- This punch can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
