  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the almond flour, all-purpose flour, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  7. Fold in the sliced pears gently into the batter.
  8. Pour the mixture into a greased tart pan and smooth the top.
  9. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  10. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let it cool before serving.
