- 4 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the almond flour, all-purpose flour, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in the sliced pears gently into the batter.
- Pour the mixture into a greased tart pan and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
