Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for another minute.
  4. Add the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, and sriracha sauce.
  6. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, and stir to coat evenly.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
  9. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sriracha sauce.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like snap peas or mushrooms.
