A delicious and spicy twist on the classic teriyaki chicken stir-fry, packed with vibrant vegetables and bold flavors.

- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for another minute.
- Add the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, and sriracha sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, and stir to coat evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sriracha sauce.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like snap peas or mushrooms.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for quick meals.
