A delicious and easy recipe for Sticky Orange Chicken Bowls that combines tender chicken with a sweet and tangy orange sauce, served over rice.

- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- In a skillet, cook the diced chicken over medium heat until browned.
- Add the orange sauce mixture to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then add to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce is sticky.
- Serve the sticky orange chicken over cooked rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Can substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian option.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
