Description
A delicious and refreshing dessert that combines the flavors of strawberry shortcake with creamy ice cream, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 cups of vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup of shortcake crumbles
- 1/2 cup of whipped cream
- 1/4 cup of strawberry sauce
- 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla ice cream and sliced strawberries until well mixed.
- In a mold, layer half of the ice cream mixture at the bottom.
- Add a layer of shortcake crumbles on top of the ice cream mixture.
- Spread half of the whipped cream over the shortcake layer.
- Drizzle some strawberry sauce over the whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ice cream mixture, shortcake crumbles, whipped cream, and strawberry sauce.
- If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Cover the mold and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
- To serve, remove from the mold and slice into wedges.
Notes
- For a more intense strawberry flavor, use homemade strawberry sauce.
- Feel free to substitute with other fruits or ice cream flavors.
- Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
