Description

A delicious and refreshing dessert that combines the flavors of strawberry shortcake with creamy ice cream, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup of shortcake crumbles
  • 1/2 cup of whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup of strawberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla ice cream and sliced strawberries until well mixed.
  2. In a mold, layer half of the ice cream mixture at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of shortcake crumbles on top of the ice cream mixture.
  4. Spread half of the whipped cream over the shortcake layer.
  5. Drizzle some strawberry sauce over the whipped cream.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ice cream mixture, shortcake crumbles, whipped cream, and strawberry sauce.
  7. If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  8. Cover the mold and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  9. To serve, remove from the mold and slice into wedges.

Notes

  • For a more intense strawberry flavor, use homemade strawberry sauce.
  • Feel free to substitute with other fruits or ice cream flavors.
