Strawberry Split Shots Recipe

  • Author: Jessica
  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

(Makes 6 shots)

  • ???? 3 oz strawberry liqueur (like Tequila Rose or Strawberry Schnapps)

  • ???? 3 oz vanilla vodka or whipped cream vodka

  • ???? 3 oz Irish cream liqueur (like Baileys or Carolans)

  • ???? 1 oz half-and-half or heavy cream (optional, for added creaminess)

  • ???? Chocolate syrup or strawberry syrup (optional, for glass drizzle)

  • ???? Whipped cream (for garnish)

  • ???? Fresh strawberries (sliced or whole, for garnish)

  • Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Chill Your Shot Glasses ❄️

Place your shot glasses in the freezer 15 minutes before prepping. This helps preserve the clean layered look.

Step 2: Prepare the Strawberry Layer ????

In a shaker with ice, add the strawberry liqueur and vanilla vodka. Shake well until chilled.
Carefully pour into the bottom third of each shot glass.

Step 3: Layer the Cream ????

Using the back of a spoon, slowly pour the Irish cream over the strawberry base. It should float beautifully, creating a distinct layer.
If you’re using half-and-half, you can mix it with the Irish cream for a thicker, milkshake-like finish.

Step 4: Garnish and Dress ????

Top with whipped cream, a slice of strawberry, a drizzle of syrup, and/or sprinkles for the ultimate dessert shot vibe.

Step 5: Serve Immediately ????

These are best served cold and fresh. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Always pour slowly for distinct layers. A bar spoon or the back of a regular spoon helps control the flow.

  • For extra strawberry flavor, muddle real strawberries into your strawberry liqueur.

  • If you’re using heavier creams, they might mix slightly—just chill them well for cleaner layering.
