Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 head of butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the ground chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in green onions and cilantro.
- Serve the chicken mixture in lettuce leaves.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add chopped chili peppers.
- Can be served with additional lime wedges on the side.
- Leftover chicken can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
