Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Thai sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and minced garlic. Whisk until well combined and set aside.
- In a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, pour in the vegetable oil and allow it to shimmer.
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then add them to the hot skillet. Sear for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 15-30 minutes before cooking. This dish pairs well with steamed jasmine rice or stir-fried vegetables.
