Instructions
Step 1: Fill the glass with ice
Start by filling a tall tiki glass or hurricane glass with crushed ice to chill it well.
Step 2: Mix the base
In a shaker or mixing glass, combine 2 oz dark or spiced rum, 2 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz orange juice, and 1 oz passion fruit juice. Stir gently or shake briefly to mix.
Step 3: Pour the base
Strain the mixture into your prepared glass over the crushed ice.
Step 4: Add grenadine for the sunset effect
Slowly pour Β½ oz grenadine syrup down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon to let it settle at the bottom, creating a beautiful layered sunset gradient.
Step 5: Garnish and serve
Top with a pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, and optionally a sprig of fresh mint and lime wheel. Serve immediately with a straw.
