Instructions
1. Prepare Your Glassware
Start by selecting your serving glasses—tall highball or hurricane glasses work best to showcase the beautiful gradient. Chill them in the freezer for about 10 minutes to ensure your drink stays cold longer.
2. Add the Crushed Ice
Fill each chilled glass halfway with crushed ice. This not only keeps the drink cold but also helps support the layering effect.
3. Mix the Fruit and Cream Base
In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, combine the peach nectar, pineapple juice, coconut cream (or milk), and lime juice. Shake or whisk vigorously until the coconut cream is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
4. Pour the Mixture Over Ice
Gently pour the tropical cream mixture over the crushed ice, filling each glass about three-quarters of the way. Let it settle for a few seconds.
5. Add the Grenadine
Slowly drizzle the grenadine into the glass. Because grenadine is heavier than the juice mixture, it will sink and create a gorgeous layered effect, resulting in a coral ombré that resembles a tropical sunset.
6. Top with Soda
Carefully top each glass with lemon-lime soda or sparkling water. Pour slowly to preserve the layered look and prevent overflow.
7. Garnish and Serve
Garnish with a slice of peach on the rim, a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes, or an edible flower floating on top. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon.
