Twister in a Cup Cocktail

Ingredients

These ingredients come together to form a powerhouse of flavor:

  • 🍓 1 oz strawberry vodka – adds a juicy, red fruit base

  • 🍍 1 oz pineapple rum or Malibu – tropical and smooth

  • 💙 1 oz blue curaçao – citrusy and electric blue

  • 🍋 1 oz lemon-lime soda – for fizz and sweetness

  • 🧃 1 oz pineapple juice – adds tropical body

  • 🥛 1 oz coconut cream or half & half – to create the creamy “twister” effect

  • 🍬 Optional: Grenadine – for a red swirl at the bottom

  • 🧊 Ice cubes – for a layered and chilled drink

  • 🍭 Garnishes: rainbow sour belts, whipped cream, maraschino cherries, edible glitter, colorful sprinkles


Instructions

Step 1:
Prepare your glass (tall or hurricane works best) by filling it with ice. This will help support the layering effect.

Step 2:
Start with a base of grenadine (if using). Pour it into the bottom of the glass—it’ll stay there because it’s heavier.

Step 3:
In a shaker with ice, combine strawberry vodka, pineapple rum, and pineapple juice. Shake well, then slowly pour over the back of a spoon into the glass for layer two.

Step 4:
Add the blue curaçao slowly, again over the back of a spoon. It should float on top, creating a blue band.

Step 5:
Top with lemon-lime soda for fizz and sparkle.

Step 6:
Drizzle in coconut cream or half & half over the top and lightly stir—it will create beautiful swirls and the namesake twister effect.

Step 7:
Add your whipped cream, candy garnishes, or edible glitter for the final glam touch.

Notes
