Instructions
Place a generous tuft of cotton candy into each serving glass. This will serve as the first magical moment—when the liquid hits, the cotton candy dissolves into a sweet, colorful swirl.
In your blender, combine 1½ cups of ice, ½ cup lemon-lime soda, and your first syrup flavor (about ½ cup). Blend until smooth. Pour this into your glasses, right over the cotton candy, and watch the magic happen as it melts into the drink.
Wash your blender quickly, then repeat Step 2 for your second color and flavor. Carefully pour this layer over the first, using the back of a spoon to slow the pour so the layers remain distinct.
If you’re going all out, add a third color/flavor combination using the same method. This creates the full rainbow effect that makes unicorn drinks so enchanting.
Generously pipe or spoon whipped cream over your slush for a fluffy, cloud-like topping.
Dust the whipped cream with edible glitter or shimmer dust for that magical sparkle. Add rainbow sprinkles for extra fun.
Just before serving, place a small tuft of cotton candy on top of the whipped cream. It will dissolve quickly, so add it right before your guests dig in.
