Description

Delicious and spooky Vampire Bite Halloween Cupcakes, perfect for Halloween parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting
  • red gel food coloring
  • chocolate syrup
  • mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, use a small knife to cut a small circle in the center of each cupcake to create a ‘bite’ mark.
  6. Fill the hole with red gel food coloring to resemble blood.
  7. Top each cupcake with a swirl of vanilla frosting.
  8. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the frosting and place mini marshmallows around the ‘bite’ for added effect.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, consider adding chocolate chips to the batter.
  • Store cupcakes in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
