Delicious and spooky Vampire Bite Halloween Cupcakes, perfect for Halloween parties.
Ingredients

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 can (16 oz) vanilla frosting
- red gel food coloring
- chocolate syrup
- mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.
- Once cooled, use a small knife to cut a small circle in the center of each cupcake to create a ‘bite’ mark.
- Fill the hole with red gel food coloring to resemble blood.
- Top each cupcake with a swirl of vanilla frosting.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the frosting and place mini marshmallows around the ‘bite’ for added effect.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, consider adding chocolate chips to the batter.
- Store cupcakes in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
- These cupcakes can be made a day in advance.
