Description

Watermelon Sorbet Stuffed Lime Shells are a refreshing and vibrant dessert perfect for hot summer days. This unique treat combines the sweetness of watermelon sorbet with the tangy flavor of lime, served in a fun lime shell.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 4 limes, halved and juiced
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the watermelon cubes, lime juice, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until it reaches a sorbet consistency.
  3. While the sorbet is freezing, prepare the lime shells by cutting the limes in half and juicing them. Set the empty lime halves aside.
  4. Once the sorbet is ready, scoop it into the lime shells.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter sorbet, adjust the sugar to your taste.
  • Make sure to freeze the sorbet until it is firm but still scoopable.
  • This recipe can be made a day in advance and stored in the freezer.
