Delicious and spooky cupcakes perfect for Halloween celebrations.

			- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Green food coloring
- Black frosting
- Edible glitter (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Stir in green food coloring until you achieve the desired color.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
- Frost with black frosting and sprinkle with edible glitter if desired.
Notes
- For a more intense green color, add more food coloring.
- These cupcakes can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
- Feel free to get creative with decorations for a spookier effect!
