Description

Delicious and spooky cupcakes designed to look like zombie brains, perfect for Halloween parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 can of white frosting
  • 1/2 cup of raspberry jam
  • Red food coloring
  • Green food coloring
  • Chocolate syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let them cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, use a knife to carve out a small section from the top of each cupcake.
  6. Fill the carved section with raspberry jam to resemble brain matter.
  7. Frost the cupcakes with white frosting, creating a textured look to mimic brains.
  8. Mix red and green food coloring into the frosting to create a zombie-like appearance.
  9. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top for added effect.
