- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 can of white frosting
- 1/2 cup of raspberry jam
- Red food coloring
- Green food coloring
- Chocolate syrup (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let them cool completely.
- Once cooled, use a knife to carve out a small section from the top of each cupcake.
- Fill the carved section with raspberry jam to resemble brain matter.
- Frost the cupcakes with white frosting, creating a textured look to mimic brains.
- Mix red and green food coloring into the frosting to create a zombie-like appearance.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top for added effect.
- Serve and enjoy your spooky creations!
