Description

Delicious and easy-to-make apple hand pies cooked in an air fryer, perfect for a quick snack or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of diced apples
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon of milk (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk for the egg wash.
  7. Brush the tops of the hand pies with the egg wash.
  8. Place the hand pies in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  9. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add raisins or nuts to the apple filling for extra flavor.
