Ingredients

- 2 cups of diced apples
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon of milk (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each circle.
- Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a fork.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk for the egg wash.
- Brush the tops of the hand pies with the egg wash.
- Place the hand pies in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add raisins or nuts to the apple filling for extra flavor.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream for a delicious dessert.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
