Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Using a small cookie scoop, drop dough balls into the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  6. Air fry for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  8. Once the donut holes are cooked, immediately toss them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket.
