A flavorful panini featuring grilled bread, creamy goat cheese, juicy blueberries, and fresh basil.
Ingredients
- Crusty bread (ciabatta or sourdough)
- Goat cheese
- Fresh blueberries
- Fresh basil
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your panini press or skillet over medium heat.
- Slice the bread into thick pieces (about 1 inch).
- Spread a generous layer of goat cheese on one side of each slice.
- Evenly distribute fresh blueberries over half of the slices.
- Sprinkle chopped basil over the blueberries.
- Cover with the remaining slices of bread, cheese side semi-facing inward.
- Brush the exterior of each sandwich with olive oil.
- Place the sandwiches in the press or skillet and grill for 4-5 minutes.
- Let them cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve with a mixed green salad or chips for a complete meal. Customize by substituting fruits or adding honey.
