Description

Ingredients

  • Crusty bread (ciabatta or sourdough)
  • Goat cheese
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Fresh basil
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your panini press or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Slice the bread into thick pieces (about 1 inch).
  3. Spread a generous layer of goat cheese on one side of each slice.
  4. Evenly distribute fresh blueberries over half of the slices.
  5. Sprinkle chopped basil over the blueberries.
  6. Cover with the remaining slices of bread, cheese side semi-facing inward.
  7. Brush the exterior of each sandwich with olive oil.
  8. Place the sandwiches in the press or skillet and grill for 4-5 minutes.
  9. Let them cool before slicing and serving.
