Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan generously.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with brewed coffee and salted caramel sauce; blend until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing.
  9. In a small saucepan, melt brown sugar with a bit of butter for the glaze, then drizzle it over the cooled bread.

Notes

For a vegan version, replace eggs with flax eggs and use plant-based butter.
