Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (e.g., penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mix in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta with the meat sauce in a mixing bowl.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot, allowing to cool slightly before serving.
