Instructions
- Combine the ground beef, ground pork, uncooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well integrated.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Ensure they hold together well.
- Pour the marinara sauce and water into a large skillet, then bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Add the meatballs to the skillet, ensuring they are submerged in the sauce. Cover the skillet with a lid.
- Cook the meatballs for 30–35 minutes, flipping gently halfway through, until they are browned and cooked through, and the rice is tender.
- Serve warm, whether accompanied by your favorite pasta, in a sandwich, or on their own.
Notes
