- 1 box angel food cake mix
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
- 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- Optional: Chopped nuts or coconut for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the angel food cake mix instructions.
- Prepare the angel food cake mix according to the package directions and bake until golden brown.
- While the cake cools, in a large bowl, combine the undrained crushed pineapple, whipped topping, and vanilla pudding mix. Mix until smooth.
- Once the cake is completely cooled, cut it into cubes.
- In a serving dish, create layers by placing cake cubes, followed by the pineapple mixture, and then a layer of sliced strawberries. Repeat layers.
- Top with chopped nuts or coconut if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make ahead a day in advance for better flavor. Can also be made in an air fryer. Be careful not to overmix the whipped topping mixture.
