- 4 ounces Lucky Charms cereal milk* (see note below)
- 2 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces amaretto
- Lucky Charms marshmallows (for rimming the glass)
- 1 drop green food coloring (optional)
*To make cereal milk: soak 1/2 cup Lucky Charms in 1 cup milk of your choice for 10–15 minutes, then strain and reserve the milk.
Instructions
- Prepare the Lucky Charms cereal milk by soaking the cereal in milk for 10-15 minutes, then strain it into a mixing glass.
- Add 2 ounces of vodka and 2 ounces of amaretto to the mixing glass with the cereal milk.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Prepare the glass by rimming it with Lucky Charms marshmallows. To do this, moisten the rim with a little cereal milk and dip it into a plate of marshmallows.
- Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glass.
- If desired, add a drop of green food coloring and stir gently to incorporate.
- Garnish with a few extra Lucky Charms marshmallows on top.
Notes
- This cocktail can be made ahead of time by preparing the cereal milk and storing it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Store any leftover Lucky Charms cereal milk in an airtight container in the fridge.
- For a non-alcoholic version, replace vodka and amaretto with additional cereal milk and a splash of vanilla extract.
